The Bachelor of Education Programme is designed to meet the needs of a rapidly changing educational scenario affected by technological advancement, international collaboration and explosion in knowledge fields.

The course is geared towards realizing the following objectives:
  • Understanding the system, practices and the problems that accompanied the development of education in our country.
  • Understanding the nature and problems of secondary school children and acquiring the ability to deal with them effectively.
  • Competency in planning and execution of teaching–learning and other concomitant educational programmes to be carried out in secondary schools.
  • Understanding the general functioning and organization of secondary schools and thereby acquire the ability to contribute towards effective curricular and co-curricular learning programme in schools.
  • Developing a spirit of experimentation towards the teaching–learning process.
  • Developing a sound professional attitude, ethics and a desire for continuous professional growth along with a sound basis for pursuing higher studies in the field.
  • Developing competencies and values related to physical fitness, social, skills, community /group living.
  • Developing awareness for the need for extension activities and community services.

Founder's Day 12th June 2010

General Dr. M.V. Shetty Trust Colleges celebrated their Founder’s day on 12th June 2010 in the Dr. M.V. Shetty College Auditorium.

48th National IAP Conference

General Was held on January 20th to 26th in Dr TMA Pai International convention centre . More than four thousands delegates attended the conference from India and Abroad.

Gold Medal Awardees for B.P.T and M.P.T.

General Dr H Tamphaibema, in MPT and Dr Madhusmitha Koch, in BPT were awarded Gold Medal in Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
