Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery 1. The candidate should have passed 10+2 class or its equivalent preferably with science (physics, chemistry and biology) subjects with aggregate of 45 marks. Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the School recognized by INC are also eligible. 2. The candidate should medically fit. | | Age requirement: A minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively. For ANM/LHV there is no age bar. |
Duration of the Programme The diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) is 3 years and 6 months duration. 6 months exemption in training shall be given during the 3rd year to those who have under gone ANM training of 18 months or 2 years recognized by INC or LHV’s with 2 ½ years of training recognized by INC. |
The annual intake of student is 50. Out of which 45 seats are under the management quota and 5 are under the Govt. quota. Only girls student are being selected. | | |
